Norfolk, Newling, Tunwell and Purchas met JPs and agreed that corporation may grant a lease of a piece of ground 5 wide at back of Shire Hall in order to build a gallery for easier access to the courts, the county justiced to pay a peppercorn rent annually to the corporation and 20s a year to a person to be employed to keep lower part of Shire Hall clean during term of lease
