DescriptionAmong other things, To his wife, Urania, £200. To his daughter, Mary, £12,000 and £200 p.a. for life, and if she survives her mother, a further £200 p.a. for life. To his daughter, Dorothea, £10,000 and £200 p.a. for life, and if she survives her mother, a further £200 p.a. for life. To his daughter, Urania, Countess of Portsmouth, £200 p.a. for life, if she survives her husband, and a further £200 p.a. for life , if she survives her mother. To his eldest son William, £1,000. To his son, Henry Arthur, all his lands in Devon and Somerset, but subject to the jointure of his mother, Urania, and his lands in Hunts and Cambs., which are now settled upon his son, William, if the said William leaves no heirs. Appoints his son, Henry, and his daughter, Mary, executor and executrix of the will. One of the copies has written at the end: Another memorandum in his daughter, Mary's hand- 23 December, 1768 my father was pleased to give me the inclosed to take care of and said there was a copy of it at Hampstead. Attached: Sheet of rough figures as to the purchase money of Ramsey and Abbots Ripton.
