Description | Reciting that in 1761 and 1767 Richard Lovell of Ramsey, merchant charged 3 acres of meadow in Ramsey Field with the repayment of £220 and £250 to Mary Cozen of Huntingdon, widow; that Mrs Cozen died and bequeathed the mortgages to Francis Overall of Ramsey, gent, upon trust for her daughter Jane, wife of Jacob Hunt of Huntingdon, apothecary; that Lovell sold part of the land to Hunns (land in R4/7/1); and that Mr & Mrs Hunt are satisfied that the land unsold is sufficient security for the monies due. Now Hunt and his wife and Overall surrender to Hunns the land in R4/7/1 freed from the mortgages made by Lovell. |
