DescriptionMayor, Alderman and Burgesses of Huntingdon let to Elizabeth Corbitt the Watermill at Bromeholme for £20 per annum plus 3 fat capons at Christmas and Whitsuntide. See Acc.319 Bundle 12/11. Precis: Conveyance by the Mayor, Alderman and Burgesses of Huntingdon, to Elizabeth Corbitt AND after yielding and paying during the said term's rent the Mayor of Huntingdon aforesaid for the time being one couple of fat capons at Xmas and one couple of fat hens at Whitsuntide well and truly paid to the Mayor aforesaid provided always that if it shall happen the said yearly rent of £20...or any part or parcel thereof to be behind or unpaid any part by the space of one and 20 days next after any of the said days on which it ought to be paid as lawful to and for the said Mayor, Alderman and Burgesses, their successors and assigns unto the said demised premises or any part thereof to re-enter and the same and evry part thereof to again repossess and any manner as of these presents had and made anything herein contained to the contrary in any wise notwithstanding AND the said Elizabeth Corbitt for herself, her heirs...doth covenant to and with the said Mayor...that the said Elizabeth Corbitt had executors...
