Contains elaborated decorated cartouche with angelic supporters above and horse-racing scene below with details of Newmarket meetings. Size: 23 x 34 ins. Scale: 3.33 ins. to 1 mile. Surveyor: J(ohn) Chapman. Date: (1768) Original MS. Oxford, Bodleian Library MS. Gough Maps, Suffolk 13 (cf. Madan and Palmer, 'Notes on Bodleian Manuscripts relating to Cambridge'. C. A.
