DescriptionFull-length portrait of the bride and bridegroom outside the door of a house. The bridegroom is possibly Edward Whittemore who married a Rose Linford in Huntingdon St Mary's Church in 1901, as the next glass plate (WH/1/317A) is of the Wittamore [sic] family. Tthere is only one Whittemore marriage on CAMDEX for this year. The entry in the Huntingdon St Mary's marriage register reads "24 April 1901, Edward James Whittemore, bachelor, aged 26, a gardener, of 26 Fairfield Road, Winchester, father ex policeman, and Rose Linford, spinster, of 20 St Germain Street, Huntingdon, daughter of James, bricklayer."
