| Title | Castle Hill House, Huntingdon |
| Description | Rear view of Castle Hill House, Huntingdon, showing the garden and conservatories. One male figure [a gardener?] is by a flower bed, and three male figures (one of whom is in a bath chair) are on the right. Castle Hill House was built by Owsley Rowley in 1787 and was occupied by the Veasey family between 1851-1912. This image is difficult to date as it has no identification scratched on the plate, and it does not appear in the Maddison & Hinde order book. It may date from the 1870s. |
