Description | Group of ladies in fancy dress with two men in what appears to be Eastern fancy dress. This may be the bazaar held in the Corn Exchange, St Ives, in 1904 in aid of funds for the extension of the Literary Institute. The bazaar was known as "The Delhi Durbar" and was attended by the Mayor, Mr. Brownlow, and a character named "The Maharajah Kantellum", dressed in Indian garb. See WH2/146. |
