This scene comes from Episode Three of the pageant, which recreated the visit of Queen Elizabeth (played by Miss Montagu) to Hinchingbrooke House. The official photographer of this event was an H. Clarkson from Thurning, Northamptonshire, who is presumably the photographer in the foreground. Frederick Hinde also took photographs of this event, many of which can be found in the Whitney collection.
