| Description | View looking along Ermine Street towards the village of Little Stukeley along the road from Great Stukeley. A horse and cart are in view, but very few houses in the village can be seen. This view appears to have been taken from just beside the modern-day entrance to RAF Alconbury, which would be on the right hand side today, looking down the hill towards Little Stukeley village. Today the banks on either side of the road have been cut away, and the road widened. The houses in the middle distance have now gone, but the building which can just he seen on the right in the distance is Post Cottage, which today has been extended and renovated, on the corner of Church Way |
