DescriptionA studio portrait of the Ridgley family. Thomas Barrance Ridgley and his wife Eliza had ten children according to the census returns of 1861 and 1871, the youngest of whom, Clara, was 6 in 1871. She is presumably the little girl in the middle, standing beside her mother. The eldest child, Edward, was 25 in 1871, and is presumably the man standing at the back of the group. The other children in the census returns are named as Eliza, Catherine, Louisa, Thomas, Alfred, Frank, Cromwell, and Marianne. Thomas B Ridgley's grocery business was at 112 High Street, Huntingdon
