KQ/SO/7/p386 | At the court session 1st May 1772 John Drago, JP bought a presentment against the inhabitants of Fordham for not repairing part of the King's highway leading from Market Street to Newmarket, whereupon the presentment was filed and the inhabitants to appear at the next session. Since then all inhabitants of Fordham to make the repairs, until this day, when a letter signed by John Drago and Baronet John Hynde Cotton, both JPs, dated 12th January 1775 confirmed the road was suitably repaired. Charles Nalson Cole, Counsel for the inhabitants of Fordham moves that the presentment be discharged. The court agrees. |
