DescriptionThe Appeals Secretary was a member of the Executive Board and originally based at 16 Grosvenor Place, London (known as the ‘London Office’) until 1968 when it moved to Enham. Reynell Wreford was appointed c 1927 - 1948, Dennis Benwell 1948 - 1975, becoming Secretary General of both Enham and Papworth (information from The Post, September 1975) . Dennis Benwell was succeeded by R Hebbourn MBE, 1976 - 1979 and AM Jenkins MC from 1979. It is not known at what date the records transferred from Enham to Papworth.
