DescriptionBertram Tallyn (General Manager, called Managing Director from 1949) was responsible for running the estate as well as the industries. He retired in 1964 and was succeeded by his Personal Assistant, Ken Cook. Mr Cook retired in 1966 and Frank Jordan took over the management of the estate under the direction of the treasurer (or chief accountant) Lionel Papé, at the same time continuing the job of Building Manager he had begun in 1947 (information from Frank Jordan)
