John from Lincolns Inn fields concerning Luke Charton and reprieve for Charles Adams. 18 August 1694. Newcastle, (Henry, 7th Earl of). Queen has excused his attendance at Windsor, for a chapter of the Garter and a Council, but is to stay in London to pass a new commission for the prince and Lord Treasurer. 24 June 1707. Wh Kennet, (White Kennet then Dean of Peterborough). Caring for Moore's protegee Hawkins - thanks for Moores care of his brother, who is to be Chaplain to Bishop of Lincoln; merchant Sparlse to bring jewels. 2 August 1713. Guy Miege, from London (the writer and ambassador extraordinary). Much news of the military campaign against the French, Mons, Mauberge, etc, and actions of the Duke of Savoy and King of Sweden. 4 October 1709. Fauconberg, (? Thomas Belasyse, Earl of Fauconberg). How well he is suited with a French Chaplain. ND. Nathaniel Crewe, Bishop of Durham, from Durham Castle. Hen James, (Dr Henry James), from Queens' College. The health of Archbishop; Dr Robinson went to Windsor; congratulations to Moore on the marriage of his daughter to Dr Canon. 16 September 1709. James Smith, Cottenham. Has collected medicine for his child as recommended. 2 September 1709. Capell, (Sir Henry Capel, Baron Capel of Tewkesbury), New Cockpitt, London. A medicine for his stomach; his cousin Capel who has been presented to my Lord Canterbury, made Chaplain to his Nephew Essex, recommended as Archdeacon of Sudbury. 1 June 1693. Ja Vernon, (James Vernon, Secretary of State). Preparation of a petition concerning James Vincent to be laid before the Lord Justices; he has already spoken to my Lord of Canterbury who will give it a dispatch. 13 September 1696. Winchilsea, (Charles, 3rd Earl), from Eastwell. Seeking dispensation for non-residence in two. Small benefices in Norwich Diocese by his Chaplain and schoolmaster at Wye (in Kent). 27 September 1698. Monetary matters; plans for dealing with clipt money at the several mints, and raising of £10-20,000 in Norwich, as at Exeter, for a bank to exchange Exchequer bills for money in order to make the bills circulate. 31 June 1696. To Charles Edmonds Esq, concerning his son's installation as Archdeacon of Norwich; John Fary of Gunton to preach Easter Day Sermon in the Cathedral; collection of rents. 2 April 1661.
