Description8 letters from the Bishop at Buckden Palace. Ranging between Income Tax matters as first levied by Pitt to a modern note upon Cathedral policy. One letter dated the 8th Dec 1825 is about the removal of a Tithe barn at Aylesbury. The first letter contains the following paragraph We are in hopes or remaining stationary for the winter both on account of the expensiveness of moving my immense establishment, and as we find this now a very pleasant quarter. The natives were very shy at first bit when they found there was no risk of catching any epedmical disorder from us, the have been wonderfully attentive
