DescriptionThese records relate to the Charity School for boys, the Church of England (boys) school (which accepted girls from 1958) and the Church of England or National school for girls and infants. As the trustees, including the vicar, appear to have been the same for both it is in some cases difficult to distinguish which. They also include some parish records relating to the church bells listed separately under Accession 5133 (pt 2). A history of the schools appears in the History of St Neots by C.F. Tebbutt (Phillimore, 1978). The records were received from St Mary's School, St Neots, through St Neots Museum.
