Shows named pastures, fields in strips, roads including Ermine Street; ship, boats; crosses in road at Godmanchester. Churches, houses, water mills drawn in perspective; bridges in bird's-eye view. Text partly in Latin. About 1 inch to 159 yards. [Oriented to the north.] Under ultra-violet light, capital letters are visible in the bottom right hand corner: 'I H S'. In addition to title, 'No 63 Huntingdon Godmanchester' on dorse. (The National Archives catalogue). The date has been derived from the bills, depositions and court proceedings (Nov 7 Hen VIII) also kept at the National Archives.
