DescriptionThe postcard was published by W. Bell, grocer & draper, of Brampton; the booklet contains drawn images of Maddison & Hinde photographs. The back of the booklet carries an advert for Baxter's Fine Repository, 3 George Street, Huntingdon and for Hercock's, Post Street, Godmanchester. The booklet was printed in Germany.
The 1898-1906 trade directories record that William Baxter traded at 3 George Street, Huntingdon, that Mrs Eliza Jane Hercock had a toy repository in Godmanchester in 1906 and 1910, and that a William Bell was a shopkeeper in Brampton and is listed in the 1903 and 1906 directories, and a William Beaton Bell in the 1910 and 1914 directories
