TitleLetter patent of King Henry VI
DescriptionThis document reproduces the text of, and confirms the grants made within, the charter of Henry IV, 1402 (HB1/1/5). At the foot is the notice of enrolment in the Memoranda of the Exchequer, during Michaelmas in the twelth year of Henry IV (1410). On the back of the document is a notice that it was upheld in an assize of novel disseisin concerning a tenement in Huntingdon, which Thomas Pulter and Thomas Langton arrainged against John Skynner, on the Friday following the Feast of St Margaret the Virgin in the 34th year of the reign of Henry VI (23 July 1456).
