DescriptionThese concern such arrangements for the poll as the erection of the poll booths; the issuing of the precepts for the attendance of constables on the day of the election; the giving out of Tickets; the handing in of the names of the candidates' Inspectors. Mention is made of the fact that the day of the election was fixed without any communication with the friends of Lord Proby and that there is little disposition in the candidates to communicate upon many necessary points. Attached to one letter is a list of the Proposals agreed to between the Candidates.
