These include appointment of the Deputy Steward, payments and arrears of quit rents, letters of application for persons to be made tenants of the Manor, and a return of the Manor to the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for England, 1872-1889 (Nos. 1-62 and 1892 Nos. 63-104). Several letters are addressed to Sir George Pringle who was the Secretary of the Ecclesiastical Commissioners from 1871 to 1888
