Title	Letter to the Duke of Manchester, from Thomas Carlyle, Chelsea [London]
Description	The letter will now be too late for the book but he would still like a copy. Would also like to see the journal of the Earl of Manchester's officer. The pamphlet may give more details about the charges against the 2nd Earl. Can the Duke bring them to town? Earl's connection with Cromwell lasted only from Aug 1643 until Nov 1644. The papers should be more widely known.
