Title	Letter to Millicent, Lady Mandeville, from her husband, Lord Mandeville, Kimbolton
Description	Encloses a letter from R.W. Dibdin in London, dated 20th June 1846: "My dear friend, I am just come back from Worthing. What I have seen & heard far surpasses what I had expected. There are four distinct cases I consider undoubted cases of miracles which I experience into myself. I might have seen others but I had not time. I shall be glad to communicate to you the particulars when you have half an hour to hear them. Truly such matters cannot long remain in obscurity. One case was a blind girl restored to sight and then a club foot cured by prayer (after years of lameness) in one minute. Witnesses without number to the godly and ungodly. A devil cast out of a woman who had been ill for 18 years and has not been ill for a year & a half since the cure. A boy of 14 raised at once, a few minutes after the doctor had said 'nothing could save him' ". In Lord Mandeville's accompanying letter, he writes that he scarcely knows what to think about Dibdin's letter. Had a good sermon this morning on prayer from the curate, is sorry the curate is going away. Key to large trunk is in the tin tray on her table in the drawing room, house keeper to take this trunk as he is bringing up another large trunk for her. Arranged a school meeting tomorrow and will go to town in the aftenroon, will be with her about 9 O'clock. Important debate in House of Commons on Monday. If she sees Dibdin, ask him about "my work (manuscripts)" as he wants to get them ready to publish whilst in Ireland. County is delightful and quiet, pities her and wishes she was there. Love to her mother.
