Title	Letter from Stanley Lees Giffard, Myddleton Square, to the Duke of Manchester
Description	From a bundle labelled "Irish Elections". He is convinced British interests have been made subordinate to those of the Coburg family throughout. The Queen and Prince Albert hate the Conservative party and Lord Derby has been 'intolerably haughty to the Queen'. She particularly objected to Disraeli's appointment to the leadership of the House of Commons (his "low origin, foppery and pretension").
