DescriptionOssulston is in error if he supposes the only question between Mandeville and Lord Robert is over the day when he took the box. He is sorry that Olivia listened to the gossip of servants and then repeated it to so unsafe a person as Robert. He never takes any notice of the disagreeable things Robert often says of her. If she had any affection for him she wouldn't have behaved in that way.
