There has been a change in public feeling on the matter and he has been quite content to leave the subject for the last six months. Assistance to emigration to the colonies is about to be brought before the Commons again and he has been at pains to draft a scheme that has met with much approval. He would be glad to submit a copy for the Duke to read at his leisure. He encloses a pamphlet on his survey of the English coast. |
