Title	Letter from the Duke of Manchester, Kimbolton Castle, to his brother, Lord Robert Montagu
Description	Louise has asked him to write and explain that she did not intend to convey Lord Derby's opinion but merely her own. It is right to find the truth but it is not wise to be so sure that you are always right and everyone else is wrong. He does not understand Robert's opposition to Lords Lyndhurst and Derby on the matter of the Trent affair and believes a lot of what he writes is fallacious.
