DescriptionThey have counted hundreds of "low Irish labourers", chiefly from Chester and Manchester, passing through every day for the last week, heading for Holyhead. He reports continuously to the Lord Lieutenant. An outbreak is apprehended and he has heard reports that most of the married officers have sent their wives and daughters to England, for fear of an uprising in Dublin.
