DescriptionHe is thankful for the approach adopted by the Duke towards Cormack. He is tamer since but it is still difficult to get explicit account from him for Russell. News from the south and west are more favourable today but there are rumours the Fenians will rise and the Protestants are quite unprepared. I thinks it will be prudent to have the guns in the Castle cleaned just in case.
