DescriptionShe is grieved that Millicent has met with Lord William [Bentinck] who has different views. He [an unnamed suitor] was was never worth considering and the conversation with him at the P [the Pavilion?] proves that he may be pleasing but is entirely 'a man of the world', connected with more than one married woman. Do not take a step you will later regret but pray for guidance as you choose a husband. Beware of profligacy and think more of good character than handsome appearance. [Possibly in reference to a 'Lord F'].
