Title | Letter to Millicent Sparrow, possibly from her aunt, signed "M.G.", Gosford [Ireland] |
Description | Annabella has not yet been christened. She is glad that Archibald will be with you next holidays but hopes Millicent's brother will take him to Worlingham [Suffolk]. Maybe Mary will go too. She is reading a book by a Calvinist called "Personal Principles of Christian Philosophy". In the evenings they read Eustace's "Travels in Italy". Lady Gosford complains of gout but her aunt is better. John is reading chemistry every day. |
