DescriptionIn this letter, Burness addresses the charges perceived against him by Mr Purves regarding a disagreement over the hoeing of turnips and farm management. Expresses displeasure at his management being questioned, "I have no objection to having my conduct reviewed by qualified men as to the management of the farm but would recommend to Mr Purves a more serious consideration of his own conduct in the management of affairs here before dragging the same in an untimely manner before the public."
