TitleLetter from B.C.Williams, Lincolns Inn Fields London, to Viscountess Mandeville, Golden Grove Carmarthenshire
DescriptionCorrespondence regarding Newry Estate. Had no particular information relating to the estate that has fallen into hand, but heard the use would always be a full 1000 a year. Will write to Mr Loftie about the subject and also about his accounts. Has already corresponded with Loftie about his accounts, was not pleased at first but soon saw the unreasonableness of his objections. Next accounts will be much more simplified. Not the first agent Williams' has had differences with, but they always end right due to his honest endevours to not give unnecessary trouble. Will focus on Mr.Loftie's proposed reductions.

Partner Burnett has been able to complete the Duke of Manchesters recoveries.Duke had called upon Mr.Oddier for £150 to pay fines on these recoveries. Mr.Oddier had expected repayment, but it was useless applying to the Duke's agent as he had no money in hand. Asks his Ladyship to to mention it to the Duke.
