TitleLetter from B.C.Williams, Lincolns Inn Fields London, to Viscount Mandeville, Upper Brook Street London
DescriptionLetter on Lord and Lady Mandeville's personal financial matters. Asks anxiously after Lady Mandeville. Encloses a copy letter Williams sent to Messrs Torlonia & Co. on the 27th September 1828 that he will send in tomorrows post unless instructed otherwise. Called as Goslings to inquire whether they remembered paying the 202 bill Torlonia & Co. state to have drawn on them by Lady Mandeville in May 1821. Found the bill so long afterwards as January 1822 but in February 1822 they had delivered Lady M's vouchers and could not send on the bill itself. Williams searched for the vouchers, found the bill and several others, including bills for Lady and Lord William Bentinck. Glad that affairs in Ireland look a little gless gloomy.

P.s Since writing the letter, Williams has reflected on the subject and feels he should pay the 59"7 to Goslings for Torlonia because that sum is certainly due from some of the family.
