DescriptionHe is disappointed the Duke thinks he is too extravagant as he always tries to economise. He is also astonished to be told that the Duke wishes him to wait for marriage, as it is not long since he was told to marry now (either to Lady Abercorn's daughter or Lady Constance). He is tired of living alone and with no house. He does not think he has been a bad son.
