DescriptionCount von Alten and his daughter arrived this morning and send their compliments. Dr Verity has been and was surprised to see the immense pile of papers referring to the legal business. Verity assures him that the people of Huntingdonshire say "it is shocking of my Grandmother at her age, with one foot in the grave, to be setting the whole family by the ears and that merely to gratify a nasty vindictive feeilng against you." An account of a visit he made with his wife, Louise, to see the naval review at the Isle of Wight. The Assyrian fund goes on excellently.
