DescriptionHe has been thinking of his 'dear friend' a good deal but more particularly today. He finds comfort in the scriptures and the knowledge that the savoiur "links in one great chain all those I hold most dear, that you have a place there…" He prays that "your dear Olivia" will be guided and "you will be spared to see her a lofty example of piety and Christian benevolence." He was impressed by her manner yesterday when she was removed from her noisy brother.
