TitleLetter to the Duke of Manchester, from the Duc de Beauffremont, 11 Avenue Percier, Paris [France]
Description[In French]. Asks Manchester for news and gives address as (no. 11?) Avenue Percier, Paris. Expresses desire to pay a little visit if he is at his home in Ireland around the 20th or 25th of the month. If so, they will go a few days after his stay in Cowes in the Isle of Wight and from there to Tandragee Castle via Dublin. Says that according to Latour d’Auvergne, the Duke is at Kimbolton. Supposes he won’t be going to Germany at present. Asks if there is a railway between Dublin and Tandragee Castle. Says they last saw the Duke last June but it seems like 2 centuries have passed due to events since. Asks if Duchess’s brother came out of all the fighting/brawling safe and sound.
