Title	Letter to Millicent, Duchess of Manchester, from John D. Lane, rector, Forncett St Peter [Norfolk]
Description	The affliction that has befallen the Armstrongs is deeply affecting. He has spoken to Colenso at great length about Lord Frederick and the report is satisfactory. They cannot expect to be altogether without trouble from Fred but God is to be blessed for what he has done. Don't be too indulgent with him. He has heard from McDonald, who is richly favoured by God and hopes that his visit to Edinburgh will be favourable. His own health is improving but he will remain at home for a little longer.
