Title	Letter to the Duke of Manchester, from Dr. R. J. Evanson, Torquay [Devon]
Description	He sends 'Notes & Queries', a periodical he does not often read, as it includes an interesting statement about the prophetic powers of one of the Duchess's ancestors. He has more journals he intends to gift the Duke later. He has seen Mr Pierdon[?] and is much impressed, although he is peculiar and 'occasionally craggy'. Enquires after the health of the Duke and the Duchess.
