DescriptionWith gratitude for the donation of £10 and the money from Lady Olivia. Discussing the effects of the famine on the poor in his neighbourhood. Poor Mr Saunders, the Secretary of their Society, died on Saturday and his last words were 'Give the poor food'. Influenza has weakened him greatly but he is grateful to all of his dear friends who have prevented his heart from breaking at the distress he sees around him.
