TitleExtract from a letter to Millicent, Duchess of Manchester, from her son, Viscount Mandeville, Kimbolton
DescriptionHe is not sorry not to be returned [as MP for Westminster] as it has brought him forward without the bother of a troublesome and expensive constituency. How cool of Fred to ask to be presented at Court, and how provoking of Colonel Hawtrey. Fred had better join [the army] soon. He has no fancy to go to Brampton to as his grandmother is out of temper about the schools in Ireland and because she hasn't been given credit for him coming forward for Westminster. She has written undignified letters to him and his father. [Final page missing].
