He agrees that it is better to have fewer unnecessary servants at Tandragee, and to bring them over from Kimbolton when needed. Discusses Lord Frederick's 'distressing' visit to Normandy and Paris with Hawtrey, and Lord Mandeville's parliamentary plans. Building works at Tandragee, with handrawn floor plan.
