DescriptionWith condolences following the death of the Duchess. He first met the Duchess before her marriage and again in 1828, both at the house of Lady Olivia, when Mr Wolff was with them and several friends deeply interested in prophecies. He and his own wife came to Madrid in 1847 but Mrs Johnson became sick in January, while he travelling in Africa, and he could not get home in time to be with her in her final hours. Mr Courtois of Toulouse have given him the Spanish translation arranged by the late Duchess.
