TitleThe Old Cattle Market (now The Broadway), St Ives.
DescriptionPhotograph by Alfred Hendrey of Godmanchester. According to Bob Burn-Murdoch and Ken Ballard's book "The Changing Face of St Ives" (published 1987 by The Norris Museum) this photograph is said to be of the last market held in The Broadway before the new livestock markets were opened at the east end of the town (now the site of the bus station) in October 1886. Until then what is now The Broadway was called the Bullock Market.
