TitleCopy of Release and discharge for a legacy.
DescriptionReciting that Samuel Edwards of Stamford, Lincs, gent, had advanced £200 so that Mrs. Elizabeth Davis one of the daughters of the late Maltman, cound be paid the outstanding amount of her legacy and that Edwards had since been repaid by John Maltman jnr., of Earith, grazier. Now Thomas Davis the younger of Godmanchester, glazier, Elizabeth his wife, and Edwards discharge Maltman and the estates of his late father from the legacy.
