DescriptionThe documents refer to the purchase of various land to be incorporated with the Benyon Settled Estates, investments & presentations to livings. There is also a print of the Statement of Claim in the Action brought by Richard Benyon Berens against Fellowes for the sale of the Downham Estate, Essex, 1883, and a copy of the will (1800) & codicils (1821) of the Rev. Peter Beauvoir, Downham Hall, with Counsel's opinion on a query about the will. (W.H. Fellowes, M.P. married Emma, dau. of Richard Benyon de Beauvoir. Edward Fellowes was a trustee of the settlement set up under the will of this Richard Benyon de Beauvoir, 1856). (1876 1881-1884)
