DescriptionA view of Mr Maule's boathouse by the river, Godmanchester. The 1877 trade directory lists an Edward Maule, a Mrs Maule and a William Shirley Maule as living in Godmanchester (no addresses are given), but there are no members of the Maule family listed in the 1890 directory. It has been suggested that this may be at the rear of what is now 3 The Avenue, which was bought by Edith Mary Maule in 1899, but this image is earlier than 1891 from its position in the Maddison & Hinde order book (images were not dated until 1891)
