TitleColbon's House.
DescriptionTwo adults and a child, presumably the Colbon family, stand outside their house with their dog. The 1901 census records that a William Colbon, aged 36, a bricklayer, born in Birmingham, his wife Amy, aged 38, and their son Charles, both born in Huntingdon, lived at 20 West Street, Newtown, Huntingdon. The house is an end-of-terrace brick house and is covered in a magnificent wisteria plant. CAMDEX records only one Colbon marriage between the years 1880-1900, that of a William Radley Colbon, aged 25, bricklayer, son of Christopher, insurance agent, and Amy Elizabeth Murphy, aged 27,dressmaker, daughter of John, bootmaker who married in St Mary's Church, Huntingdon on the 29th August 1889
